2026 Midterm Elections ยท November 3
Corrections and Updates
Independent information project. Not an official government website.
Election information changes, and mistakes happen. Vote America aims to fix errors quickly and openly.
Report a problem
Email [email protected] with the page address, what you believe is wrong, and, if possible, a link to a primary source such as an election authority, a candidate’s own website, or an official record. Reports from candidates, campaigns, and election officials are reviewed under the same standards as reports from anyone else.
How corrections are handled
- The claim is checked against the strongest available source, starting with the official election authority.
- If the claim is wrong, the record is corrected or removed. If sources conflict, the page shows the conflict or marks the item for review.
- The record’s last-verified date is updated. Significant corrections are listed below.
A correction request is not a guarantee that a record will change. Records change when verified sources support the change.
Routine updates
Candidate filings, ballot status, and propositions are re-imported and re-checked on a regular schedule, and again close to Election Day. Each record shows when it was last verified. Data older than a set threshold is marked as stale.
Corrections log
